Meet Dr. Peter Ta

Dr. Peter Ta is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  He received his undergraduate degree in Genetics at the University of Western Ontario, and also received his DDS at the University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry (2009).   Subsequently, he completed a one year general practice residency at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, followed by specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto (2014).  During specialty training, he completed a Masters of Science (MSc) in the field of bone biology, with particular focus on bone grafting and regeneration.

Dr. Ta is an active hospital staff member at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Trillium Health Partners.  He is a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, in the department of Oral Surgery.  He is an active member of the Halton Peel Dental Association, Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Ontario Dental Association.
