Meet Dr. Thomas Kertesz

Dr. Kertesz is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon practicing full scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Fountain View Oral Surgery. After receiving his dental degree at the University of Toronto, he completed a one-year general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Kertesz then obtained his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto which was completed in 2005. He also received a Master of Science degree from the University of Toronto after his research involving human anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Kertesz is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He has published research articles, is an active surgical staff member at Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga, along with active memberships in various dental and oral and maxillofacial associations. Dr.Kertesz lectures to residents at Mount Sinai Hospital and also enjoys teaching resuscitation to health care professionals as an Instructor with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Dr. Kertesz has been practicing full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery full-time at Fountain View Oral Surgery since 2005.
