Dr. Ian Mark, DMD

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Mark earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. He then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. During his training, Dr. Mark provided surgical care across several major New York City hospitals, including The Brooklyn Hospital, The Brooklyn VA Medical Center, and St. Barnabas Hospital.

Dr. Mark has authored multiple textbook chapters on dental implants and bone grafting and has presented at national dental and oral surgery conferences. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he maintains active membership in several professional dental and oral and maxillofacial surgery associations.

Originally from New York, Dr. Mark now calls Toronto home, where he lives with his wife (a Toronto native) and their three children.

Dr. Mark practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery and has a special interest in dental implants, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, and oral pathology. He is known for his compassionate and patient-centered approach, helping individuals feel comfortable and confident throughout their surgical experience.
